Upcoming Presentations

Gordon will be chairing the Local Government Transport Forum which is to be held in Auckland at the Rendezvous Hotel on the 19th and 20th of October 2010.

Gordon will be presenting at the Organisational Design and Strategy Execution Conference on the 23rd -25th November 2010 at the Rendezvous, Melbourne.

Gordon will be presenting at the Green Transport & Logistics Summit in Dubai on 23rd to 24th February 2011.

 

Recent Presentations

 

Gordon presented and facilitated a two day hands on training session on “emissions reductions“ in Maylasia on 19 & 20 July 2010.

 

Gordon presented and was chairman at the 3rd Carbon Accounting Masterclass in Auckland on 26 March 2010. Gordon's presentation was focussed on a how to guide on initial steps for producing a GHG Emissions inventory.

 

Gordon presented to the NZIM in Wellington on 28 October 2009 on the topic of “Is being environmentally sustainable good for business?“

 

Gordon and Ron Shaw both presented at the 2nd Annual Carbon Accounting and Reporting Conference in Wellington on 15th April 2009. Gordon presented a paper on the current carbon accounting and reporting landscape in New Zealand. Ron presented a case study on the NZSO and its GHG emissions inventory.

 

Ron Shaw made a presentation at the 3rd International Conference on Sustainability Engineering and Science hosted by New Zealand Society for Sustainability Engineering and Science.

 

This conference was held in Auckland from 9th to 12th December 2008.

Gordon Shaw representing the Institute of Management Consultants New Zealand (IMCNZ) gave a presentation to the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes at the Asian Hub meeting held in Singapore on 8-10 October 2008.

 

Gordon Shaw chaired the 2nd Carbon Finance, Accounting and Reporting Conference held on 22 August 2008 in Auckland.

 

Gordon and Ron Shaw delivered the first Sustainability Master Class in Auckland on 24 and 25 June 2008. The second Master Cass was delivered in Wellington on 7 and 8 July 2008.

 

Gordon Shaw from Sempre Avanti Consulting chaired day one of the Carbon Finance, Accounting & Reporting Conference in Wellington on 22 April 2008.

Gordon Shaw, Director Consulting was selected by the Institute of Management Consultants USA to present at their annual Confab conference in Reno Nevada in October 2007.

 

The title of Gordon’s presentation was Avoiding and Surviving the Pitfalls of Consulting in Asia and the Pacific.

 

 

2007 Land Transport Summit

Gordon Shaw Director Consulting presented at the 7th Annual Land Transport Summit in Auckland on 19th and 20th February 2007.

His topic was “The potential impacts of the Government’s environmental policies on a typical NZ vehicle owner or business fleet operator”.
